Patient Transporter-OR

Transports patients to and from their inpatient beds and other areas. Other responsibilities include retrieving medical records, lab results, supplies and medications. Cleans as needed including wiping off equipment, mopping and emptying trash and linen. Inventories, orders and distributes supplies. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor. High school diploma or equivalent. No experience necessary. Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
