Central Scheduler ACU
Job Description
Responsible for answering phone calls, receiving orders and scheduling patient appointments. Triages phone calls as necessary. Conducts patient pre-certification to ensure coverage for appointments and medical care. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
High school diploma or its equivalent is required.
At least 1 year of healthcare related experience is required.
BLS required.
Previous medical scheduling preferred.
