Provides overall administration for Radiology and Cardiopulmonary Departments in accordance with accepted national, state and hospital standards. Plans, coordinates and directs activities both departments. Deals with all staffing and budgetary issues. Is responsible for the recommendation, development and implementation of policies and procedures in these areas.
Graduate of AMA accredited
BS preferred but practical experience and advanced licensure taken into consideration in lieu of
Able to exhibit and understanding of respiratory care and the cardio pulmonary environment with an understanding of EEG, EKG, and PFT studies.
Two to five years of clinical experience (preferably in the area of application);p experience in
patient care management preferred.
Demonstrated leadership abilities; able to work under stressful situations.
Possesses good oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrates interpersonal relationships in a manner which enhances communications,
promotes conflict resolutions, and facilitates staff development.
Skill and knowledge to sustain and evaluate clinical competence in caring for the specific age
and type of patient population serviced.
